Apakah kalian ingin menjadi arsitek? Apakah kalian peduli dengan arsitektur? Lebih daripada itu, apakah kalian ingin peduli pada sejarahnya? Saya adalah orang yang selalu mendukung pernyataan bahwa "Seorang arsitek harus paham mengenai sejarah arsitektur dengan baik". Bagaimana dengan kalian?

Jika kalian termasuk orang yang peduli, saya bisa bercerita sedikit mengenai perkembangan arsitektur di Vietnam selama ribuan tahun. Kalian akan mengerti seperti apa arsitektur di Vietnam itu, mengapa arsitektur di Vietnam hampir mirip dengan arsitektur di China dan bagaimana perkembangannya saat ini. Tapi disamping itu semua, apakah kalian cukup paham dengan perkembangan arsitektur di Indonesia?

Tentu saja kalian juga punya sudut pandang tersendiri. Saya harap kita dapat mendiskusikan topik ini pada hari Jumat, 8 Januari 2016 di Popo Danes Architect. Acara ini akan dipandu oleh tim Architects Under Big 3.

Tentang Cam  :

To Quang Cam lahir di Vietnam, 13 Agustus 1992 adalah seorang Model Maker Architect yang pernah menempuh pendidikan arsitektur di National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) Vietnam pada tahun 2010 - 2013. Pada tahun 2013 Cam memutuskan untuk berhenti menempuh pendidikan di NUCE dan mempelajari bidang arsitek dengan caranya sendiri. Setelah memutuskan berhenti dari NUCE ia memulai riset mengenai sejarah arsitektur Vietnam (2013-2015). Pernah bekerja di Vo Trong Nghia Architects (2015) sebagai Model Maker dan sekarang bekerja di Popo Danes Architects (2015-present) sebagai Model Maker.

You want to be an architects? You care about architecture? More than that do you care about the history of its? I am a guy who always support the opinion that "An architect should know about history of architecture, even deeply". How about you?

If you care I can tell you a short story about the development of architecture in Vietnam through over 1000 years. You can know how does Vietnamese architecture look like? Why does traditional Vietnam's architecture same like China's? And how about them nowaday? But above all you just look back yourself a little : Do you understand about Indonesian architecture enough?

You have own viewpoint certainly. I hope we can discuss about this topic on Friday, January 8th 2016 at Popo Danes Architect. The event will be hould by Architects Under Big 3. Please Come

About Cam  :

To Quang Cam who was born in Vietnam, August 13th 1992, is a Model Maker Architect who took his architectural study in the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) Vietnam during 2010-2013. In 2013, Cam decided to quit from study in NUCE and started to learn architecture on his own way and made a research about the history of Vietnamese Architecture (2013-2015). In the past, he worked in Vo Trong Nghia Architects (2015) as a Model Maker, and now, he worked in Popo Danes Architect (2015-present) also as a Model Maker.
