Ranah ilmu  arsitektur dalam kehidupan sangatlah luas, bukan hanya tentang rencana dan rancang bangunan tetapi baik dari factor sosial budaya dan metode berpikir termasuk didalamnya. Peran lulusan dibidang arsitektur memiliki pilihan yang sangat banyak dari menjadi arsitek, developer, desainer (grafis, produk), perencana, banker, dan lain-lainnya. Menjadi arsitek pun kita dapat bekerja di biro konsultan baik besar maupun kecil atau langsung membuat usaha biro konsultan sendiri. Pilihan untuk membuat biro ini terkadang menjadi pilihan yang berat dan sulit bagi para lulusan muda yang belum pernah terjun langsung dalam dunia kerja.

Kami dari Vastu Studio ingin sekali berbagi kepada teman teman semua, pengalaman kami sebagai lulusan muda yang memberanikan diri untuk membuat biro konsultan sendiri setelah lulus dari pendidikan s1 arsitektur. Banyak pertanyaan dari teman teman tentang baiknya bekerja terlebih dahulu di biro konsultan lain atau sulitnya mencari projek sebagai konsultan muda.  Memberikan pandangan klien atau masyarakat tentang konsultan muda dan sebaliknya seperti apa menjadi konsultan muda dalam melihat ke luar.

Tentang Vastu Studio:

Vastu Studio berdiri langsung sesaat kelulusan tiga mahasiswa (Belly Munandar, Davin, M.Harsyadika) sarjana arsitektur Institut Teknologi Bandung saat Oktober 2014. Pendirian studio ini merupakan tantangan dari salah satu dosen pembimbing terhadap mahasiswa yang dilihatnya takut untuk mendirikan studio baru saat lulus.  Selain menjawab tantangan, Vastu Studio merupakan perbandingan alternatif pembelajaran dari belajar langsung dengan teman-teman yang bekerja di konsultan. Vastu Studio selain bergerak di bidang design and build , juga meranah di bidang dokumentasi khususnya arsitektur.

Build architect consultant for beginner

Architecture has a wide meaning, not only in design and planning, but also in socio-culture and thinking methods. The architect graduate have so many choices what they are going to be in the future, they can be an architect, developer, graphic and product designer, planner, banker, and even many other profession. There are many ways if being an architect is an option, we can work an architectural consultant, whether it is a big or small consultant, or started to build an architectural consultant by ourselves. Sometime, the option to build and owned an architectural consultant for the fresh graduates is hard to get and difficult at the same time, even for those who have never experience a working life.

We, from Vastu Studio, would like to share to all of you about our experience as a fresh graduates who dare to build our own architect consultant right after we graduated from the bachelor degree of architecture. There are a lot of questions from people about the difficulties of being a young consultant. We would like to give an insight to a client or to the society about the young consultant and also what kind of insight of young consultant supposed to have when looking outward.

About Vastu Studio:

Vastu Studio was built right after the graduation of its 3 owners, they are Belly Munandar, Davin, and M. Harsyadika who graduated from the bachelor degree of Bandung Institute of Technology on October 2014. This consultant is the result of a challenge from the university supervisor who thought that a freshgraduate don’t dare to build a consultant. Besides, Vastu Studio is also a comparation towards the freshgraduates who work in a any other consultant. Vastu Studio is not only focus in design and build, but also documentation especially in architecture.
